Material consists of collected raw material from artists and authors who participated in the programme in the founding year of Kunstraum BLAST Köln. This resulted in a joint collection of pictures, texts, found objects, fragments of all kinds, which are the source material or inspiration for artistic work and research. There was no limitation as to form and quantity. The order of the layout followed the entries of submission and according to minimal design criteria. An alphabetical list of all participants appears in the appendix of the book. The simple but high-quality binding with open spine and the black-and-white print on sketch-like paper also show a rough elegance of draft in its outer form.
Material besteht aus gesammeltem Rohmaterial von Künstlern und Autoren, die im Gründungsjahr des Kunstraum BLAST Köln am Programm beteiligt waren. So entstand eine gemeinsame Sammlung von Bildern, Texten, Fundstücken, Fragmenten aller Art, die Ausgangsmaterial oder Anregung künstlerischer Arbeit und Recherche sind. Es gab keine Limitierung betreffend Form und Umfang. Die Reihenfolge der Anordnung folgte dem Eingang der Einreichungen und unter minimalsten Gestaltungskriterien. Im Anhang des Buchs erscheint eine alphabetische Liste aller Beteiligten. Die einfache, aber hochwertige Bindung mit offenem Rücken und der S/W-Druck auf skizzenähnlichem Papier zeigen auch in der äußeren Form eine raue Eleganz des Vorläufigen.
